Yeah I hesitated on snagging blossom and then when I decided to do it, it wasn't there. At least I got HBMS.Yeah, have to laugh at that statement lol they didn't last 30 minutes. Sorcerer was gone in 3 minutes.
Just grabbed this. Very excited for further releases from this collaboration.Coral Keys
The first collaboration in our partnership with Real Gone and their reissues of the incredible Black Jazz label, we have Walter Bishop Jr.'s 'Coral Keys' on transparent orange and black swirl vinyl.www.vinylmeplease.com
I'm really surprised that it has not sold out yet from VMP. The album is SO good.I didn’t get steamy summer romantic tropical vibes as much as I got “Im in a really dark place and feel constantly tormented and I live in NYC and it’s grey cold and depressing af and this may end up feeling like a bad but good acid trip” vibes. Guess that’s the beauty of music though, that being said it’s my ROTY so far @JonnyH
Wonder if they will do more Black Jazz label reissues or if it will be the only one and they are just doing a few Real Gone variants...Just grabbed this. Very excited for further releases from this collaboration.

Yea--on twitter they have said that Real Gone has a lot of plans for the Black Jazz label and VMP will be doing a whole series. Wonder the source of the vinyl, but I would LOVE to get some of the harder to find Black Jazz stuff. I have almost dropped a lot quite a few times on OG pressings because they were the only way to get them. From Twitter:
"Black Jazz has one of the most peerless catalogs of spiritual jazz, and we're happy to partner with
Real Gone on a series of color vinyl reissues from the label, starting with this Walter Bishop Jr. reissue."
Makes me think it'll be more Black Jazz!
Harold Vick, Woody Shaw, Idris Muhammad. Yes please. I’ve been on the lookout for OG Black Jazz albums but they are few and far between and haven’t pulled the trigger on any. Hopefully Real Gone does a good job on these.Just grabbed this. Very excited for further releases from this collaboration.
I have never been charged for cancelling an add-on before the time at which they charge and in the past (after swap confirmations were introduced) I often cancelled and added things back on when new swaps came up only to cancel again.Oh man, think I'm gonna have to jump on Coral Keys, even though it's pretty pricey at $32.
So my Essentials add-on is currently swapped to Mavis Staples. If I cancel the add-on track, VMP should get the hint I changed my mind and won't charge/send me Mavis, correct? Has that worked out well for anyone else who's done that?

In theory, you should not be charged for the add-on and will not be sent Mavis. In practice...who knows haha
One of the most surprising swaptions I’ve stumbled upon in a long time and right up my alley. Replayed it in full like three times yesterday, parts of it reminds me of like Durand Jones and then other parts of it the bands is able to transmute that sound further into the realm of soft psych rock a la Vetiver. Whole experience is very mellow and enjoyable@Ghost is right....this Holy Hive record is awesome. I may buy the non-VMP version one of these days.
Yeah, I doubt it will be Amy Winehouse‘s Back To Black! That recent reissue - the Abbey Road Half-Sped remaster sounds great by the way
Yeah I was blown away that's still available. Such an amazing record and looks really cool too. Definitely music to smoke a joint and chill to.One of the most surprising swaptions I’ve stumbled upon in a long time and right up my alley.
