Honestly the "hype" on this seemed completely customer made. VMP is definitely guilty of overy-hype on occasion but I read that tweet as simply a heads up that they were holding off until 12:30, because they had to wait for one of the albums to be announced.

Simply a proactive move so they wouldn't get emails and tweets at 12 asking where the drops were. No hype outside of a normal Wednesday Store drop

I'm excited for this album because I loved his last one. And that vid is awesome--I've been sending that around to people who aren't aware of his music. I'm just so confused about the latin trap song hah. The other songs in the medley are more of what I expect from him based on his earlier work.

I don’t know why but my brain was expecting the mock up to be more translucent like the Texas Sun nebula version lol but this is certainly gorgeous

It looks like the big difference between these is the amount of “blue” added. The ones that received a nice amount of blue turned out quite handsome.

I was thrown some credits. I asked for the equivalent of a refund since I am no longer a member and was told they can't do it on this one. If you don't mind, how did your interaction play out?

Yeah, I've got no complaints on this one. Plus the music sounds great, I don't mind the vocals at all.

I emailed explaining the issue and said I'd love a red gitd copy if they exist otherwise I just want a refund.

They apologized and said they weren't sure what happened and that they refunded my order.
