So the sell is £40 for a record that might be a dud, will likely arrive late and might look completely different to what was sold. On top of support that can take weeks to respond if at all.

Not to mention beaten to shit half the time.

Always pay with PayPal, that gives you 6 months protection.

Otherwise get in line for bankruptcy court. You'd likely get zilch if PayPal or your Credit Card can't help you.

That’s also 40 something per cent given that $10 is a fair chunk of $23!

Depends on how he paid too, he might be abl to get his money back from PayPal or his Credit Card depending on when it were to go under. That being said there is always people left holding the bag when a company goes belly up unfortunately.
