I got a reply from Tyler today that said, essentially, "The Anthology order confirmation email says you have to cancel within 48 hours of purchase, so we will not cancel your order."I’m not sure why, but reading about this bundle today finally made me snap and cancel my order for the Herbie set.
Well done buddy! Can't have it one rule for them and one rule for you!I got a reply from Tyler today that said, essentially, "The Anthology order confirmation email says you have to cancel within 48 hours of purchase, so we will not cancel your order."
I responded "That email also said this Anthology would ship Summer of 2020, and it is now October. VMP is in breach of contract."
An hour later, Tyler writes back "Due to circumstances, VMP agrees to a one-time exception to our policy. Your order has been canceled and refunded."

Which means people should use their credit cards and dispute whenever that happens. Chargeback city.Id put money on them refunding and replacing less from now on.
You and your sneaky lawyer tricks.I got a reply from Tyler today that said, essentially, "The Anthology order confirmation email says you have to cancel within 48 hours of purchase, so we will not cancel your order."

When I first got the response, I was prepared to accept that it was too late to cancel the order. But then I kept reading; the logic was so flawed that I had to snap back. You and your sneaky lawyer tricks.
I don't follow the Anthology series, but did the GD ever ship for people?on the one hand, i feel bad about piling on the hate that they are getting. but on the other hand, they so, so, so richly deserve it. the grateful dead cash-in travesty? the price hike? the bullshit with the shipping continuing?! and to try to swing that "you had 2 days to cancel!" rules-are-for-thee-not-for-me bullshit is just too rich from them
Not yet. I'm calling it a cash in travesty because of the price and contents.I don't follow the Anthology series, but did the GD ever ship for people?
After asking that I saw in the Anthology thread that it's supposed to ship on Friday. Not yet. I'm calling it a cash in travesty because of the price and contents.
This reminds me...I signed up for the Johnny Cash TMR Vault release and forgot to cancel before they charged me again for the next release, which they hadn't announced yet. As soon as they announced the Greatest Hits release, I emailed to cancel, and they flat out refuse. I've gone back and forth with them a couple times with no luck. Has anyone had success trying to cancel--and get a refund for--their TMR sub after being charged, and if so, how did you do it?I got a reply from Tyler today that said, essentially, "The Anthology order confirmation email says you have to cancel within 48 hours of purchase, so we will not cancel your order."

If the edition size was smaller, I might’ve bought it but 2500 is a lot and though it’s a unique cover/color, I think the indie one is much more appropriate.VMP Sturgill is up. Looks to be $5 more for members when factoring in shipping, at least what I am looking at with the Indie option.
Cuttin' Grass, Vol. 1
The fifth album from VMP favorite, Sturgill Simpson. Our edition comes with alternate art and is pressed on Kentucky blue vinyl.www.vinylmeplease.com
Right there with you. If it were 1000 or under, I might have been swayed, but when I think limited, I don't think 2500 ha.If the edition size was smaller, I might’ve bought it but 2500 is a lot and though it’s a unique cover/color, I think the indie one is much more appropriate.
Never done it myself, but from everything I've heard they're pretty adamant about no refunds/cancelations. At worst, you'd be able to resell it at-cost or more once you finally get it.This reminds me...I signed up for the Johnny Cash TMR Vault release and forgot to cancel before they charged me again for the next release, which they hadn't announced yet.
