Daft c*nt is a term of endearment over here so anything is possibleI guess I just learned that “snarky c*nt” is not offensive on your side of the pond...

One of my mates can't deal with the phrase 'legend has it'. You can see the inner torment everytime he hears itEdit: The one other thing that was a bit of an eye roller was the "I knew from the moment I read her clips that she'd..." phrasing. So, that's much more of a personal pet peeve, but generally when you're praising someone else you really don't want to bring it back to yourself. I've done a decent amount of superlative writing about other folks in a business capacity and it just makes it look like you're patting yourself on the back when you do it: LOOK WHO I FOUND AND I KNEW IT. I don't think that's what he was doing here but it was the initial emotional feeling it gave off.
Google:He also said “inventing our editorial department”. I get alot of y’all hate him but in no way did he claim to invent editorial...
No need, I know what it meansGoogle:
"Proof of concept"
No need, I know what it means
Yeah dont see it at all. He joined a small company 5 years ago that had a POC for editorial created by Tyler then ran with that and created the editorial department and processes that they have now...In no way do I read that as ”inventing editorial”.Alright well. That's the specific point that people are pointing to referencing him claiming to have invented editorial. So there you have it.

Most people don't go around using ridiculous statements like "basically inventing" to pat themselves on the back when they are hired to do a normal, common, job and perform it with mediocrity at best.Yeah dont see it at all. I'm increasing moving in that direction with 'I did a thing'If any one uses the word “banter”, or even worse “bantz”, in my proximity it feels like a physical struggle to restrain my self from removing their heart with a spoon.

Sorry, I guess I've never seen anything that would make me consider him a good editor. In fact he has made many mistakes and at least at first, seemed completely averse to either researching, understanding, or correctly reporting pressing and mastering details of their products.lol alright...
I mean, I read it as a typical signing off and handing over the reigns message. And on his personal twitter, not VMPs.Sorry, I guess I've never seen anything that would make me consider him a good editor. I don't understand why anyone would use a term like inventing to describe writing and soliciting freelancers, like every other website that publishes articles online.
You're right that name calling isn't called for, but he could go a long way to combat the vitriol by exercising a little humility about himself and certainly his opinions.
