This is my favorite one. I doubt I will grab the VMP pressing but it’s still an album I need to for sure pick up.Huge fan of a couple Destroyer records but haven't really checked that one out much yet. Guess now's the time.

Edit: “European Oils” is probably my favorite Destroyers song.
If you haven't picked it up, I recommend Streethawks. The 2011 reissue is a Kevin Gray mastering and is sounds amazing.
I am more of a Danzig “Mother” karaoke kinda guy. I don’t think my voice is reedy/nasally enough to do Bejar justice.Thought you were posting a picture of yourself singing there for a second... nope it's Dan Bejar.
I’m just over here patiently waiting for a definitive Nancy & Lee reissue. Looks like a nice set though! And for anyone who doesn't want to pay $40 its up for pre-order at LITA for $28 Nancy Sinatra - Boots | Light In The Attic Records
Rough Trade UK had a better-looking (IMO) red and yellow variant up on their site yesterday, but seem to have taken it down. VMP is probably cheaper for members, all told, shipping considered. But, given the cover-heavy tracklist on Boots, I think I'm content with the compilation from LITA last year.Boots
'Boots' is Nancy Sinatra's 1966 debut album. We have it on Black and White Swirl vinyl.www.vinylmeplease.com
Nancy Sinatra up as well. $44 for non-members lol.
May end up grabbing this as I have $35 in credit laying around. Never listened before but its right up my alley so far.
They must have just put these up. 8-Track!And for anyone who doesn't want to pay $40 its up for pre-order at LITA for $28 Nancy Sinatra - Boots | Light In The Attic Records
Oh, it's coming...sometime! Check out this twitter thread on the graphic design elements of the Boots (and subsequent Nancy & Lee) package:I’m just over here patiently waiting for a definitive Nancy & Lee reissue. Looks like a nice set though!
August is my last month as a VMP member after 5ish years. I wasn't around when swaps opened yesterday, so a few good options are now gone (including Withers as a swap). I'd love to get advice for my final record. Here's what I'm considering:
1) Four Tet
2) Open Mike Eagle
3) Nada Surf
4) Getting another Demon Days and gifting it to a friend.
FWIW I love that Four Tet. But keep in mind there were a lot of warps on it. But they will have replacements for years on that one.August is my last month as a VMP member after 5ish years. Thanks, and yeah, I'm coming to the end to my grandfathered in pricing, hence the departure.Open Mike Eagle can almost always be purchased for cheaper than swaps, unless you're still geandfathered in on the cheaper plan - even then worth checking.
