Yeah, I think it was one of the first waitlist items I signed up for when I joined like almost two years ago.
I just got the notification, but think I'm going to pass as my Atlantic Singles Collection and Young Gifted and Black are there for my Aretha fix.

The only one I'm really digging is the Melvin Sparks. As a bonus, you still get Idris on drums. For $33, I can see this one getting regular spins.I'm giving these a bit of a listen and honestly I'm not feeling any of them.Which is disappointing, because the first round of Jazz Dispensary titles were all killer, with the possible exception of Jack DeJohnette.

Whew, that Idris went fast. I listened to that and Melvin Sparks some more last night, and both grew on me a bit... I think Idris is a bit uneven; there are a couple of solid songs on it but a few that aren't doing much for me either so I could take it or leave it. Since it was gone in the 20 seconds it took for me to swap for Sparks, I guess it'll be a leave it.
I'm still not 100% sold on Sparks either, but since I swapped an add-on for it, I figure I got a couple of weeks to change my mind if I want to drop it.
I'm sticking with Ornette Coleman on my main. It's one of those albums that's been sitting on my "to-buy" list forever so now is as good a time as any.
