Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

I have to say I kind of chuckle at all of this. Just so I understand - Did VMP promise everyone that everyone would get a copy of whatever was on their list? People knew these were (very) limited right? They knew that demand via the internet exceeded supply right? But now they're surprised/shocked/angry? At least I didn't have to actually drive to some store somewhere and wait in line for hours on end only to get shut out...oh wait, that's RSD, and people hate that too. I'd be willing to bet that the same people will be back in line again for the next online TBT or RSD or whatever.

Ok carry on.
This!!!!!! I saw this coming a mile away…not surprised by the store drop and the backlash at all

The very top of the page and their marketing emails always note that the stock quantities are extremely limited and expect them to go fast. In a way they're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

As an aside, I'm a bit surprised seeing King Curtis and Bill Withers are still in stock, several hours later. Withers especially is a fantastic album and I highly recommend for anyone on the fence.

Grabbed the Withers with credit and really looking forward to that one. Already have King Curtis and definitely a favorite of mine.

I've seen approximately zero conversation about this record since it dropped months ago, but I just wanna say it's some solid (mostly) instrumental hip hop. It's showing as sold out in the VMP store although you can swap for it at the moment or get a pink variant from his bandcamp for a couple of bucks cheaper:

They've started to arrive. Discogs Page
Two reviews, one positive, and one with a typical VMP issue. Hmmmmmm.

Would any of you kind folks would be willing to Tina Fey me a copy of Extraordinary Machine?

Vinceron wants $150 and, haha, no.
There are a few on Discogs already for under $80. But you can also still get it direct from VMP, even as a non-member for $47.
I'm just debating if I'm willing to spend $47. I want to complete my Fiona collection, but that's enough to make me pause. Mostly because it's coming from VMP who has always been so hit or miss for me.

I legitimately forgot they did non-member sales now. Thanks. :)

Here is your chance to be Features Editor at VMP.

I thought they didn't have editors.
