They’ve a load of listings saying that they’ll still be pressed at Vinyl My Plant. Has anything actually been pressed there or can they just not be arsed to update the website?
This is the Ashby repress (for examples sake)

But it's not?I posted a reddit comment yesterday saying the plant was pressing/running.
100% this. I thought about dipping back in for Little Richard, then realized it was $55 USD.I don’t think they have as big a full time international subscriber base as maybe it might appear. As an international it’s very very expensive and their attitude towards us stinks. I’d say more than you’d imagine just dip in and out for selected releases.

Still have Impulse! pending. Barring a great run of titles I really want, that would seem like a good final chapter on my time with VMP.
This would require Cam to use all the mba buzzwords, which if he knew probably would have prevented him from being fired. It is kinda crazy the hedge fund/private equity folks tied to vmp didn't want to vertically integrate with the plant. All the mba buzzwords usually are easy sells
Paulie said there had been unexpected “barriers” with the anthologies. I think they knew.None of them will be at the VMP pressing plant. I think the regular VMP staff got blindsided like the rest of us (or at the very least only had a nominal heads up before we did) and details are still being worked out on where everything will be pressed going forward. Storf said in discord an email will go out once every release is finalized with a new pressing plant with a new timeline (optimistically he hopes it'll be this week, but I wouldn't hold my breath). So for now assume anything on the website that says it's being pressed at VMP and whatever release date estimate is given to not be correct.
I did see Storf say in the discord that the GD and Blue Note boxes were heading over to RTI. Not sure about Impulse.

I used to do that too, but it just became a lot of effort to save $10.I've been swapping my main track for store credits and adding sub when I want something. I'll spend that credit in another sale. $55 is too much.
Literally did a spit take when I read thisDid they actually thaw Tyler out for this?
Furnace may be better than RTI these days.apparently the impulse, GD, and blue note anthologys are moving to RTI.. in the worst case it will move to furnace
I don’t think the board is hedge fund folks but could be wrong…It is kinda crazy the hedge fund/private equity folks tied to vmp didn't want to vertically integrate with the plant. All the mba buzzwords usually are easy sells
Cam was fired in March. So they had to have known then but were likely instructed not to talk about it until it became publicPaulie said there had been unexpected “barriers” with the anthologies. I think they knew.
