Pure speculation but maybe it’s the cheapest colour because it’s hideous and they can sell it for more because it’s a colour. At this stage I’m pretty sure all they give a fuck about is money...

I kinda like the brown with the album artwork in this case. But the music of Big Thief underwhelms me. Wallet is safe.

I paid 17.XX before shipping for the peach preorder. Even with shipping it was only 22.01. How in the hell do they have an almost 30% markup on this compared to other versions? I like the dark brown too but not for $8 extra.

$30? Not surprised, they got stingy AF. They’re stuff isn’t really regularly selling out now though, so maybe we’ll see them decently priced on a sale or through another 3rd party bespoke kinda thing.

Just a heads up, as some of you know I had some really weird noises on side 2 of Joel Ross and a bad warp to the Comet Is Coming. I emailed CS and Pauly got back to me to confirm he has sent out replacements for both, which is great. So if anyone does have issues with either of these then just send them a video and hopefully they will be able to sort out a replacement.

It depends on who you get a CS response from. A shame for those who put their blood and sweat into providing such a good service for so long that this new direction is sending away customers in their droves.

Honestly, it's indirect too. We all see the responses you get. Add to that the constant flow of pressing and printing issues and I'm not talking about warps here. Although I haven't entirely quit, I'm down to 1-2 records a month mostly because I still like the Classics sub. I was receiving 5 on a slow month for a while.

Doubling down on support of that. I have the standard black vinyl and it sounds great. Also comes in a polylined sleeve similar to the Mobile Fidelity sleeves, unlike the VMP edition.
