Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

So Aretha showed up today, looks fine but will give it a clean and spin this weekend.

Strange thing is that even though DHL had $50USD listed as the value of the package there was no customs declaration on the parcel. Checked the last couple I received (saving the boxes for PIFs) and they all had a customs declaration stickers.

I am guessing it is total anarchy in warehouse. I really hope there is a box that keeps getting sent out but it has Saddle Creek as the recipient so it comes back the next day and some poor soul has to unbox, box it and then send it back out to themselves again because that is what the slip of paper says to do.

Hope your Mobb Deep doesn’t skip as well! Mine plays flawlessly, but others have been a bit unlucky!

Also, TLC exclusives sound absolutely stunning! And I love the 45RPM 7 inch disc with the No Scrubs (with Left Eye’s rap)! Such a joy to spin!
 
Box came in today and it looks like I LOST the Blossom Dearie sweepstakes!

Can't wait for the bullshit email telling me why they oversold sooooooo many records, hopefully it takes less time to refund my credit card than it did to figure all this out! I'm truely learning what these good vibes are doing to their inventory!
 
My account page is now showing refunded for Phoenix and Notorious B.I.G.. Expecting the same for De La Soul- 3ft and Jay Som.

(receiving the refund is a different story.... I can see the Biggie refund coming to my paypal but I'll have to keep an eye on my credit card for Phoenix and De La Soul.)

I wonder if VMP will give me some extra store credit or something. Selling me FOUR now oversold records is ridiculous.

Another update. Something happened when mine went out for delivery and only shows as "Forwarded". I thought that maybe they went to deliver to my old address, then realized they needed to forward to my new address, since that is still turned on. Except...

I haven't had an update in a week and my package was in my town. I randomly checked my VMP account today and saw that there is ANOTHER order with a different tracking number that is in process with USPS (same record). I never got an email about a new shipment, but I have been getting the other CS mass emails. My working theory is that when they didn't deliver it to my house, they just sent it back to Saddle Creek and now they are preparing to send it again? On the off chance it's just sitting at my post office, I'm going to head over there tomorrow to see if they have it. I'm also still waiting in the CS queue for them to answer my question from a few weeks back.

The saga continues.

I finally received my December package on the 19th, just Lucille. My ticket was addressed shortly thereafter by CS and I figured the matter was finished...

Until another package from VMP showed up on my doorstep today and I didn't order anything else from them.
