Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

By no means am I an expert on quality of pressings but I was personally happy with both especially considering the price
Gotta be honest, at first glance I thought those Flesh Of My Flesh LPs were liquid filled records. Which would've been aesthetically cool but there's no way those can't sound like absolute ass. Makes the fact that it's actually a picture disc sound downright audiophile-worthy in comparison 😜

that site cool to buy from? they got decent prices

I just received the two N.E.R.D exclusives they sell... Seeing Sounds, and Fly or Die. Both came in great shape. I don't know if it would call it an "issue" per say, but one of the LP's for Fly or Die came with a small amount of black swirl on it. Not sure how that happened, but it doesn't affect playback at all.

Those are all US prices and that DMX album is a $19.99 pressing on Cogs. They just don't give a shit anymore, just pricing stuff to see how high they can go before people blink. It's disgusting.
The other thing is that while we all understand the difference between an exclusive release and standard release I still see some casual or new members I've come across on Reddit sometimes assuming that these releases are also VMP exclusives thusly purchasing these standard releases at the exorbitant price..but hey, at least it's free shipping!?!!

Yeah it does get a bit dodgy when you're taking advantage of people who might not know any better.

Their pricing structure is all over the place for all of their records.

Tha Carter III is sold individually at $40, but Tha Carter Bundle is $46(marked down from $52, which doesn't make sense as the two combined are $69 total) and throws in Carter II that costs $29 by itself. Yet the price of Carter II went up from $23 to $29 to buy alone for no apparent reason. Meanwhile, the TLC bundle is $62 for two records that normally cost $33 each?

The only thing that seems to be consistent is their ROTM single LP's are $34 and the double LP's are $40 when purchased outside of swaps. Color me surprised if they continue to let people swap "$40 dollar records" for $23 dollars.

The $52 is a holdover from before the price change because Tha Carter II was $23 and Tha Carter III was $29 before things escalated.
