That's true to be honest. I can't really be upset at that since the "value" of a swap is in theory like $29 or whatever, and the Bandana record was $35 or so in the store. Still, I was pretty stoked to be getting it

I got one email but $80 in credits so I’m assuming that none of my swaps went through this month. What a crock of shit.
Honestly I kinda hope it doesn't. Being able to get any upcoming release I may want is nice.

If you ask CS to convert the credits to "Store Credits" then they will go towards your membership. I did that last month. They show up differently in your account page when this is done.

If I had $40 for each time I lost an order due to VMP's inventory mis-management...
Throwing money at your problems can potentially be a good strategy, but only if you are also fixing the root cause in the process...which could be happening behind the scenes, but I doubt it. They have had years to improve on inventory management, have told us they are "working on it", yet have somehow only managed to get worse in this regard.
Throwing money at customers so they won't take their business elsewhere reeks of desperation (and certainly isn't a sustainable strategy), but maybe that's just where they're at.
