I did the deed. Almost $48 for a single LP (basically my unofficial monthly vinyl budget).

I considered a 3-month membership to "save" $12 or so, but figured it wasn't worth all the stress that being a member of such a shitty company entails.

Yeah, I've definitely done that for some in the past. I just don't see it being necessary in this case. Either they will keep pressing more and they'll be available cheaper after release or it will be released everywhere and be cheaper anyway (for non-members at least).
