The tri fold is the same as the original release is it not? Or do you just mean the older versions had more space in each pocket so you could get two into one?

I should’ve been more specific, but the pressing of “The Bedlam in Goliath” where the three albums only use a gatefold jacket. It’s so hard to find outer jackets for tri-folds, so I tend to shy away from those.

Vinyl Storage Solutions (pretty sure they ship to the US) has awesome crystal clear oversized sleeves and are about to release box set outer sleeves. I use them for everything now.
 
anybody get a shipping notice (or the album yet) for Aretha - Spirit in the Dark? Noticed it's marked as "in-stock" on the VMP site now.

And isn't Karen Dalton VMP supposed to be out soon?

For what it's worth I've been pretty thrilled with everything I've ordered direct from Sundazed, and usually use an order from them as an opportunity to hit their ding discount section as I've gotten some amazing deals on barely perceptible sleeve damaged records from them.

Same. Sundazed has some great releases for great prices.

I have both on order but neither have shipped yet. Karen Dalton says 'Estimated warehouse arrival in mid April.' Aretha is showing as in stock, but so does the Lyle Lovett when he just sent a video message saying it was delayed.
