Yea! I found out about them way back when they did their Thelonious Monk RSD box set. I have been singing their praises over on the jazz thread for awhile now and glad that more people are starting to get into them. They are an amazing label! I have I think about 10 of their releases now and they all sound awesome and are very high quality.Sam Records have so many other great releases on there website! I only recently discovered them and they look like an amazing record label that do high quality reissues, with great QC on the vinyl production side of things too! I'm definitely going order some vinyl from them in the future!

The label does not want make exclusive for record club. We work together at the beginning (our first release with Motorama!) when we were not able to make exclusive. Maybe Sean changes his mind.
I hope so! His label is really great. Tell him one of your subscribers was wearing a Talitres t-shirt last Sunday in Bordeaux city center.

The insert (photo by JP Leloir) is a classic with Sam Records. The poster is an exclusive for us. Fred for Sam Records has done some digging at Olympia’s Archives and it is amazing.Yeah I’m definitely framing it. I didn’t realize it had a poster and insert so those were both great surprises.

That First run of blue notes from vmp before they even launched classics looked great and sounded good. But most of the times black vinyl works perfect for jazz

I'll be there as well, looking at the Swaptions and will give my opinions on what I think the best ones are! I think you're absolutely going to love the August ROTM though! The Brooks' lead single "Turn Up The Sound" is a funky, quirky song that is effortlessly sexy! Also, its a 2LP album that is just going to be full of funk! I'm totally in for it! I can't wait to look at the final product when it gets announced!
