Looking forward to thiss. The preview tracks sound great and pretty diverse in soundIt is one of the best debut album in this music style I've heard in years.
There is one track here : Vinyle du mois - Février 2021 - Swear I Love You -So only a single is on streaming, the album isn’t out until Feb it seems. It kinda gives me vibes of the sort of pleasant mildly psychedelic folk pop of the late 60s. Kinda Birdsy stuff?
Not getting Joy Division out of that one track I’ve gotta be honest. What does the rest of the album sound like @Edd? Broadly similar or so they have a more varied sound?
Google Chrome has done a pretty good job of auto-translating the site into English, so this page is pretty handy!A little improvement on Wax Buyers Club website for members. You have now a much better access to your infos. It is in French, yes (sorry). There is some limitations for monthly members via Paypal.

And still one here !
So 4 on a 7 tracks LP.
I think this album is very homogen, quite agree with you about the psych vibe.
If you have any question please ask. Thanks! My efforts extended to searching for the band on Qobuz and everything bar “Under The Pines” being marked as unavailable
I’ll give these four a listen over the next few days and try to make my mind up!

Not sure about these compilations. Le Chant du Monde is an old French label. They released a lot of folkloric music and protest songs from all over the world in the 60's and 70's. I have a few of them and happy with. I don't know if they are good or not today, I only have Charlie Chaplin OST compilation which is ok but not amazing. My feeling is that they don't give a great importance to the pressing and the packaging but they keep following their history, compiling songs in a some kind of musical archive of a genre, an era, a country, etc...
As a seller, i would say : "go on, those are great!".
As a digger : Picking is great, tracklist for the 5 volumes are great. The pressing is not audiophile, but more than ok. If I had to choose, I woulf prefer one Tone Poet Serie than 2 American Soul Connexion.
Ok, I'm not a good seller.
Frankly, that would be what i was interested in a series like this. At this price point and mixed provinence of the titles that would be the best one could expect, so i´m tempted. I have the feeling that with 60s and 70s soul a well done compilation often goes a long way, because bands where often focussed on the great singles and not so much on cohesive albums. i had the Sweet Soul Music Series from Bear FAmily Records on CD and that is a stellar series. As a digger : Picking is great, tracklist for the 5 volumes are great.
