Yeah I’d prefer a bit more mid century clean lines but the build quality and materials on those things is pretty fantastic which is just about enough of a saving grace.

Equally I did just transfer €13,500 to the bathroom people so there is that too haha!

I really need to ace this promotion interview in 3 weeks time…

I got a good store. Basically I gave him my budget. He said pick everything you want, blow the budget and we’ll work back with good quality substitutes. I’d said €12k to €14k, my initial picks had me at €15k and I’m coming in at €13,400 with them, I’ll probably spend another thousand on accessories and bits and pieces that I’m picking up myself.

I could probably have saved a good bit more by going for the usual chrome metal stuff and taps/showers but I just had to have Matt black!

Yeah I mean that's about what I budgeted. But I've got 2 bathrooms to redo and then a roughed in 3rd bathroom that has to be totally built. So that's like...$70,000 just to make the goddamn rooms in which we excrete waste look slightly nicer. This is stupid.

Anyhow... Dovedales sound really nice but are too expensive.
