Super Tentemba Jazz - Reconciliation

One of my favourite albums. Not sure why I first picked it up other than it looked intriguing (they have since been on a Mr Bongo compilation but info about them is all but impossible to get Hard to find, cover is pretty beaten up, music is just fantastic Manding sounds from Mali. Beautiful and uplifting.

DeJohnette on synths and drum machines give this ‘85 soundtrack to a Japanese nature program a distinct ‘80s sound that won’t appeal to many but I rather enjoy it.
