I've really fallen for Bill Callahan in the past few years - right in my sweet spot.

I think it's one of the best, if not the best, singer songwriter album from 2019. So glad I got to meet her to sign my album.

Got to see her open up solo for Punch Brothers a couple of years ago and she was in Andrew Bird’s band last time he came through. My wife really wanted to dislike her; about the fourth time I played this record, she found herself singing along, asked me what it was, and then went “dammit.” Lol.

This is fantastic. The Stones loved this guy. Two songs from this album ended up on Rolling Stones albums- “I’m a King Bee” and “Shake Your Hips”- renamed “Hip Shake”.

The Kinks covered “Got Love If You Want it” and George Thorogood did “I’m Just Your Good Thing”.
