What's Spinning

There are worse ways to spend an evening. Now what do I pair Bowie with? Whiskey? Stout Beer? Got some hard cider that's really good too. 🍻

Any story as to why the lyrics of "It ain't easy" aren't on the sleeve?
It’s a cover so I guess he would have had to pay to print them

Here’s an interesting one, occasionally friends, neighbours etc drop a box of records to me, normally found in lofts , garages , even farm buildings ..in varying states of condition, some are too far gone, most are just rubbish , some even worse (Gary Glitter etc) but occasionally the odd gem ...

This was in a box of trashed records, cover reflecting its 1957 first U.K. flip back press age, but the record ..after a couple of cleans, amazingly plays straight thru in glorious Mono

Art Blakey / Horace Silver / Max Roach - Volume 44 (Curcio, 1981 Blue Box Set)

I listened to this last week and its been on my mind ever since. The Art Blakey is a live performance from New York in 1962 and as far as I am aware, and according to something I read online, this is the only place to be able to hear it. Its killer.
