Duke Ellington & John Coltrane – Duke Ellington & John Coltrane (Impulse!, 1963 First Mono Pressing)

Even though Ellington is known for his big band work, its actually his smaller sessions I prefer, with this being a favourite. This mono pressing is actually quite the rarity. I bought it on eBay years back and the photo used was so blurred you couldn't see what pressing it was. I only paid a few quid so I was ecstatic when I saw it was the Mono first press in great shape!
