So with this I finished my Jazz section and my whole collection! Turns out I have 3 CD's in Discogs so that brings it down to 354 total!

Normally that would be the end of my collection right... Well... Now I'll be continuing with the recently arrived...

Let's see how many I have bought since starting this!

Substantial "the past is always present in the future" [355/354]

Substantial "Sacrifice" [356/354]

I love Substantial's flow and these two albums also have great beats and lyrics. I definitely recommend both album and they still can be had for $25 USD each signed on Bandcamp. The Pressings are great 🤘

My collection #597-598

Angelique Kidjo - Celia
Gary Bartz and Maisha

Angelique Kidjo followed up her inspired covers of Talking Heads with this album, at least its equal. Beautiful mash-up of Latin and African with Tony Allen on drums and Sons of Kemet on several tracks. And this Gary Bartz and Maisha is a really wonderful melding of an old master and his wily apprentices. Whole band is on fire.

My collection #599-600

Pearl Jam - Riot Act
Hedvig Mollestad - Ekhidna

Decent Pearl Jam, which coincides with when I got back into them after a brief lull, and the new album of Norway's best guitarist, which is a mixture of Led Zep and jazz vibes. Live video of her trio from last year below.
