You seen him live? Brilliant.
This was my gateway. I very much was the same. Still need to pick some up on vinyl one day.The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers

sooo, confession time - I’ve always enjoyed the Stones but thought of them as a singles band. As in if I grab one or two of their comps then I’ll be all set. With the recent announcement of the half-speed remastered albums I thought I’d jump in and give them a fair shake.
As luck would have it, I ordered the wrong version of Sticky Fimgers on amazon and got a remaster from 2015 instead of the current reissue. And you know what? It sounds fantastic. I’m sure earlier copies sound much better but to me ears, this was $20 well spent.
I will report back when I give Some Girls a spin!

I think 40 Licks that came out around the same time as the Beatles and Elvis #1 comps in the early 2000’s; was a great introduction for me. It caused me to dig into their catalog and discover they have some amazing records too. This was my gateway. I very much was the same. Still need to pick some up on vinyl one day.
Haha, in the second pic where you show off the lenticular cover, i heard music from one of the first two Potter movies.
