Not quite as good as their debut but still a solid album of my university years, and the French Dylan doing a great variety of Dylan songs in French with customary panache.
A hard-hitting, yet soulful hip-hop 2xLP featuring a cavalcade of features (Erykah Badu, Haitus Coyote, Anderson .Paak, Thundercat, and more!). Very underrated.
Ray Charles - The Exciting Years (Allegro Records, 1964 First Pressing)
This is a killer compilation but the pressing is super quiet. Sounds like it was recorded from the back of a room which is a real shame. Luckily I picked up another Ray Charles today to go with this!
The White Stripes - De Stijl
Ella Fitzgerald - The History Of
This was always my favourite White Stripes album but on vinyl I'd just gone with the John Peel release as a kind of pseudo greatest hits. Happy to get this and a decent splatter, and it sounds decent to me. Plus, the wondrous voice of Ella Fitzgerald and most definitely the only version of Old Macdonald Had A Farm I've got. She could sing the phone book and it would be great...
