Lloyd McNeill - Treasures (Soul Jazz Records reissue, 2019)

This album is killer, such good stuff. Mellow soul jazz erupting into hard hitting stuff. And the bio of McNeill reads as a 'whos who' of collaborators and friends, from Nina Simone to.....Picasso!?! Great stuff.

Badass album by the cello metal legends. Franky Perez (formerly Scars On Broadway, now in Deadland Ritual) on vocals. 2LP 180 gram press, gatefold sleeve, with CD of the album. Fantastic record!

Newbury Comics exclusive press, limited to 500 copies. This is one of the few times where I paid a scalper for a record that sold out too quickly. Worth it though. The orange press is nice, but this blue/black/white marble looks fantastic! One of my favorite EPs ever made!
