pink floyd - atom heart mother
this is literally the first time this record has been spun- it was a sealed copy until about five minutes ago, when i figured why the hell not?!
piggybacking on what i said earlier about rick wright songs not getting much attention, give me summer 68 over if and fat old sun any day. they’re all great songs, but rick’s is my preference on this album.

pink floyd - obscured by clouds
david gilmour surprised lots of fans when he included this track on his 2006 tour setlist. obscured by clouds is probably the hidden gem in the floyd discography, tucked away between meddle and dark side of the moon, and showed they could make a good record in a short amount of time.
