Getting to some more RSD releases I've gotten in the mail this week...and the wraith of Optimal strikes again. The first 15 seconds of at least side 1 (probably side 2) are fucked. I had the same (but much worse) issue on the RSD release of the alternate Tango In The Night a few years back.

Day 08: Paul Hogan’s Birthday

Sunny Side Up (Brownswood, 2019 Limited Coloured Pressing)

I have been meaning to spin this one for a while now, and it fits in with todays challenge quite nicely. This is a jazz compilation from Brownswood Records (Gilles Petersons' label) that focuses on the fresh talent in Melbourne, Australia. Its a similar set-up to their superb 'We Out Here' compilation, and the musicians here certainly gives the London crowd a run for their money!

Vince Guaraldi - Peanuts Portraits - The Classic Character Themes (Fantasy, 2020 VMP Exclusive Coloured Pressing)

A crazy fun album. I never watched Peanuts growing up (although I do remember the Snoopy toys being a big thing back in the day) but the music somehow seems to play on the nostalgia still. Great stuff.
