Spiritual Jazz 11: Steeplechase (Jazzman, 2020 Compilation Pressing)

A compilation of tracks from one of my favourite labels, Steeplechase records. A particular favourite is the Johnny Dyani track, I have been after a copy of his album 'Song For Biko' for years and just cant seem to find it at a reasonable price.

Jutta Hipp - At The Hickory House Volume 1 (Blue Note, 1956 First Mono Pressing)

I love this album to bits, her rendition of Dear Old Stockholm is goosebump worthy. I just wish she had the confidence to record more albums before she backed away from the jazz world.
