The Smashing Pumpkins - Cyr (2020)

The Pumpkins are synthier than ever. On some tracks, this works great. On others, not so much. Still, it's the sound of a band that's maturing while also struggling to find their identity. If we know anything about the Pumpkins though, it's that they never follow trends, not even the ones that they created. Still, a solid album from a damn solid band.
