What's Spinning

Still need to listen to this!

Tried to post these earlier but I was unable to on mobile. My new Orbit Custom came in today. I tried to hold out for the Fluance but I never have been the patient type.. Got the acrylic platter, cue lever, and Grado Black1. Pretty nice. This was my first spin followed shortly by 3 Feet High & Rising. Funny how I discovered the forums, joined VMP, bought about 30 of their albums, and witnessed the collapse of the forums all during a time when my turntable was broken and I was unable to actually listen to any of the vinyl they sent me. De La was the first ROTM that I have been able to spin ever, and it's bittersweet to say the least. Got quite a backlog, let's see how far I can get tonight!

Woo dang! Good luck on the backlog, good to see you spinning!

How's it sounds? I fully intend to test against OG.

Edit: also does the jacket open vertically?

Sounds great...a nice, quiet pressing. Does have some very light noise on a few tracks but I think it's from the master tape (my Rhino Handmade CD has the same clicks/pops on the same songs). The jacket does open vertically and to me the cover looks darker than it should. Nice, sturdy, tip-on cover and includes a fold-out with liner notes.
