View attachment 85897Giving this another spin as there’s been talk of pressing issues. Can happily report that there’s no skipping during Burning Down the House and overall the album sounds fantastic.
@bdrummond @Bloodlemons @GentleSenator just wanted to give a heads up that there are good copies out there !

my copy of the earlier pressing "skipped" too and it seems clear that it's the cut and not a vinyl defect. a little extra force applied worked fine to track through. happens sometimes with hot or dynamic cuts. having a high(er) end TT can make a world of difference. looking at your setup it's no wonder you had no problems.

problem with this blue version seems like it's just been repressed at a shoddier plant.

I didn’t even know this group existed until I saw someone post At The Zula Pool in a FB group that I’m in. Headed over to Discogs and scooped this much cheaper album. More Sturmer is never a bad thing.
