Gregory Page: One Hell of a Memory

CD005D7A-EEC4-4BB2-B94D-BE6346F5B079.jpeg

Gregory Page has a special place in my heart. He’s my probably one of of my favourite slices of Americana and his albums have always transported me to another time and place. This one has a hefty lashing of Irish folk and it’s a little bit country. Jason Mraz features heavily on this too, providing some excellent harmonies, in addition to recording and releasing this on his own label. They’ve been playing and touring together for years. Gregory gave Jason his first support slots when he arrived in San Diego and was struggling to get shows. So if you’re a Mraz fan you should probably thank GP.

Radiohead "OK Computer OKNOTOK" (1997 Parlophone; 2017 XL Recordings, Optimal pressing)

@Joe Mac I'm happy with my copy of this for the price... It's a really quiet pressing. No pops anywhere. Sounds pretty good too. Not as punchy as the Parlophone The Bends, but it's dynamic and clean.

Yeah the OKNOTOK remaster isn’t half bad, whilst not quite there it’s pretty close to the Parlophone in my opinion. Also worth it for the 3rd disc which is mega!
