What's Spinning

One from the Deals thread.

As was discussed, this one had some opportunities, mainly with the master tape that was available for this release - a couple sides have vocals that are mixed way low. I'm weak. I bit anyway. I'm not one to argue with a complete 1974 Dead show on 6 180G LPs for $48.

I was expecting a bit of a trainwreck. Not even close. This thing is dead quiet and is recorded nicely save the couple sides where the vocals are low. Everything else is crisp and clear. I'll just use those two sides for karaoke Dead.

Serart - Serart (2003)

A masterwork collaboration between System of a Down's Serj Tankian and Armenian musician Arto Tunçboyacıyan. Jazz-fusion combined with tribal rhythms and incredible vocals. This is signed by the incredible Serj Tankian himself. This is probably the most underrated work in Serj's repertoire.

Man, when I finally lay out my entire System of a Down collection and show it to you all... It's scary to see it all together lol
