I forgot until tonight how important this album is to me.
As an 11-year-old buying this in January '93 on CD, having only Nevermind to reference, I was not prepared for this.
Because the radio did not sound like this. MTV did not sound like this.
I didn't realize until tonight that an album as loud, brash, and dissonant as this was as incendiary in my listening as it has been.
And I think I need to go put it on for another spin.
Regardless it sounds darn good at 45rpm in basic black.

My cat is under a lifetime ban from the music room. Every since she found her way to top of the 6ft speaker viva a one-two-jump. Floor to Left Equipment Rack to top of Speaker. She seemed rather proud of herself.
