Fergus McCreadie - Cairn

My favourite album of the year so far. Great jazz piano trio, a little bit EST / Bad Plus but with a more lyrical and Scottish slant to it. Really recommended.

If you haven't heard it, you might like this show - has a bunch of Scottish jazz, including Fergus. I had no idea we had a big jazz scene up here!

Been a pretty stunning afternoon of tunes. Finished the rest of the Gillian Welch box. 11 out of 10 on all accounts. Then tossed on my original Fogerty - Centerfield. Been a few years since I spun it. Another great sounding piece of wax.
