View attachment 96566While I wait for the box set to arrive I decided to play the one Police album I currently own. $1 bin copy (on translucent purple vinyl) that shows its age, glad I’m upgrading.

It’s pretty scratched up (hence the dollar bin I think) The songs that play through do sound fantastic though! I’m going to give it another clean and see if it improves.

This quintet was really my first real inroads to jazz in my teens, so this era of Miles albums will always be my favorite. It ain't the cleanest copy but it plays pretty darn well, picked it up in brooklyn at Permanent Records (rip I think?) years ago

Saw the news about Shock G passing and decided to dig this one out. For those of you that aren't familiar with the group, they were a comedy rap group. One of their tracks was actually the debut of Tupac Shakur, who was a roadie at this point.
