Well having just listened to the entire first track of that 33rpm tone poet at 45rpm I can safely tell you that fast sax sounds a lot like a trumpet. I did wonder why Stanley sounded so odd!!

No locked groove, sounds good and actually looks better than the mock-up (may in fact be the prettiest record I've received from VMP!) - I'm glad I didn't swap this one out.

There's a fair bit of crackle in the quiet sections, but other than that it sounds pretty great. All my 'valuable' records were trashed in my youth & aren't really worth much.
