CDW was one of those VMP purchases that I'm not quite sure why I made it but I'm now glad I did. While with GoGo Penguin, I like it but I'm still figuring out whether they're just a pale imitation of EST really. One thing is sure - I got into them and Mammal Hands at the same time and I *much* prefer Mammal Hands.

How does this sound?

Really good! I initially thought it would be made up of amateur recordings but it was actually a fully realised session that was just shelved. Hasaan's style is really interesting as well, there are hints of Monk in his playing but not enough to sound like a copy. Really good stuff.
