Kamasi Washington - Heaven and Earth
Last of what I classify (well, at least *store*) as boxsets. I really dig Kamasi. I read some criticism on the jazz thread about him always building to a crescendo and have to say I agreed when I saw him live. That was kind of my most disappointing gig of recent years. Not bad, just not as good as I'd hoped. But on record I really dig his sound. I know this didn't get as much love as The Epic, and it isn't as good. But it's still damn good to these ears.
