Rainy dreary damp morning outside. Left the amp on last night so the music room is warm and inviting. First spin of the morning is another excellent Gearbox release.
Really enjoyed playing the new box on Spotify, but it kind of convinced me that every version of it is flawed one way or another. Anyway pretty happy to have this version of it, which sounds pretty good. Never my favourite Beatles record but still so many great songs.

A nostalgic evening. Kylie was the first record I bought so I got it again, but, well, it hasn't aged so well. Two first-class Poly-Rythmo's, and some cracking older singles all bought for under a quid - highlights include my favourite Beatles B-side (Rain) and trio of really fine vocalists. 7s are where the bargains are...
