I found out about this record because someone posted it in Fresh Grabs and yesterday I ordered a copy of it. It said clear but on your picture it looks more like colored. Which is it actually?

I spun the hell out of this record when I first got it, but I’ve put it down for quite a while (Discogs Roulette even tried to push me toward it at least a couple of times, but I ignored the signs). Forgot how good it is; it might be my favorite blues record.

I'm not a huge fan of vintage gear, unless it's the good stuff. You understand good stuff. That's a beautiful Thorens/SME.

Thank you! I agree with you about vintage gear. Been through enough vintage speakers/amps/tables to know vintage just isn't worth it... until it's really worth it. But all the vintage stuff has its quirks no matter what you do. Like if you're used to dead quiet motors then you're going to be in for a nice surprise because these old idler drives are far from silent. That was something I had to get used to at first, and I have a relatively quiet running deck, too. Now I appreciate the mechanical symphony. So I'd never go back to vintage for any of my other gear, but I'm willing to make a little sacrifice for these Thorens decks... well, not much of a sacrifice.

What record is this?

It's called In The RP2A Over The Sea and it's a full In The Aeroplane Over The Sea cover album made with Nintendo noises. I kickstarted it a few months ago and it just came today.
