Day off work, let’s get this morning going!
I know that U2 sometimes divides music fans, and even U2 fans don’t agree on all of their albums/songs.
I can appreciate this album on several levels, foremost Brian Eno’s production and input. It also fits a time in my life with some fond memories, and these songs felt fresh compared to their earlier, punkier sound.
I know Bono’s a bit of an egotistical tw@t, and I still resent them & their management going after Negativland, then basically using others’ video clips in a similar manner on their Pop tour. Many artists I like have mixed value in my mind.
Anyway… 30th anniversary edition of Achtung Baby.
