Most folks not named @LeeVing might consider an entire soundtrack album by an artist a throwaway, a musical afterthought.
Not this one.
Just played the original She's The One soundtrack and followed it with the posthumous reimagining Angel Dream. Both are some of the best music Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers ever created.
Miss you Tom. Thanks for everything.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - She's The One and Angel Dream
The first time I saw Mick play live, he just stood there and played his ass off while all the dancing and mugging and theatrics were going on around him. He was the calmest person onstage and simultaneously the most incendiary. Bravo, sir.
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band – Live/1975-85 (Promo Comp of the Full Show) I didn't feel like listening to the entire show but this comp. is a pretty solid 1 disc curation of it and it includes my favorite live track of his "The River".. His storytelling at it's best.. A couple decades after hearing it for the first time and I still get goosebumps.
