What's Spinning

Please bare with me as this will likely be a long post…

It’s been over a month since I’ve spun a record. Not by choice but because of a cross country move. My listening space is supposed to be in the basement but due to high levels of radon that space won’t be available for a few more weeks. I also have to get my insulation that contains asbestos removed before I can have the guys install the radon mitigation. Haha. Lots of fun you guys.

So I’ve decided to set up temporary listening upstairs now that I have everything unpacked and in place. This is the first record spun in the first home that I (and my fiancé) have purchased.

I have decided that I will listen to every record as it goes on the shelf in addition with taking pictures and cataloging them on my CPU for easy viewing and they will be in my order and not discogs order. I plan to do this with every record before it goes on my shelf. Why you ask??? Because I like to set unrealistic goals for myself of course!!! So without further ado

Oddly enough, I saw them live last night without knowing any of their music very well. They were freaking great live, super tight, like a more math-y, less poppy Failure or something. Made a fan out of me, so I picked up their latest. I haven't had time to spin it, though, so I can't post the cover here.

That's awesome! Did One Line Drawing open up for them? I think both bands are touring together on the West Coast.
