Weird! I randomly gave this a spin today too (same reissue), after finally bringing all my records in from my garage last weekend. Forgot how great this one is.

Thanks! This is actually my dad's old Pioneer PL-112D! I'm not sure what my long-term plan for it is but I got a new cartridge for it and it's been fun to use. Since it was always my dad's deck I'll always love the aesthetic.

If it works well, probably no need to replace it at all. There are some good shops that can repair if needed. I’d say just pair it with the best cartridge you can comfortably afford and continue having fun!
