Continuing the McCartney theme. With the new speakers/cables/tubes this is as close to hearing the illusion of a live show at home as I've ever heard.
Maybe this has something to do with it. I've since backed off of the volume to a "not cited by the police after 10 PM" level.

Isn't early metal Black Sabbath's debut from 1970?
I've got the mono, and at least 4 other stereo pressings. You need the 4 LP. The difference between the stereo and mono are different enough that they nearly sound like different albums. The new stereo is the best of all of the stereos I own, even the British. And I play the Esher set more than I thought I would. It's really a beautiful package.
Look for an Amazon Warehouse deal. I think everyone here has gotten new copies, regardless of how it's listed. Less than $50- a steal.

I mean, I'd describe early metal as an era, not just one album lol. I'd describe early metal as 1969-1975, personally.

Yamaha YP-D6 Direct Drive, 77' I think? Slapped a MP-110 on it, sounds bloody excellent!
Late '70s to mid '80s- there were lots of great Japanese tables. Yours qualifies. Very nice and great choice of cartridge too!
