I think I’ve mentioned (and heard others mention) how great these Mellencamp Collection mixes and pressings are but it’s worth repeating. Some of the best sounding albums in my collection.

Spent the last 8 hours reorganising my records. Pulled out quite a few that I haven't listened to in a while.
Gérard Gustin Et Son Quartette – Musique Pour Un Bar (Barclay, 1958 First French Pressing)
A really lovely compilation of tracks that were intended to play at (or meant to represent that heard at) a French bar.
Pepper Adams - The Cool Sound Of Pepper Adams (Regent, 1958 First Mono Pressing)
I paid the first album up with another with a similar vibe. Another stunning one, this time from Pepper Adams. As much as I would love to get all of the RSD releases on my wishlist this year, it's just so expensive now that I'm going to limit myself, with the Pepper Adams high up on my list.

B.B. King - Lucille (Bluesway, 2019 VMP Classics Pressing)
I love the opening track where B.B. King talks about the origins of Lucille, such a captivating perfromance.
Duke Ellington - Blues In Orbit (Philips/Columbia, 1960 First Mono Pressing)
I regretted not getting the AP pressing of this when VMP had it but managed to get this pressing at a shop late last year, so I cant complain!
