Reflecting on Stuart tonight, the resulting sadness compels me to come back for more pontification.

Stuart made millions happy with his music but couldn't find a way to make himself happy. He battled alcohol which lead to legal troubles and failed relationships. He couldn't find a way out on his own.

On December 21st, 2001, he hung himself in the closet of a Best Western Hotel.

Let that process - the auteur of one of the most successful records of the 80s hung himself in the closet of a Best Western.

It didn't have to be that way. It never has to be that way

Everyone has value and something to offer, no matter what they feel their situation may be.
