Finally delivered today! Took a long time to get to NJ all the way from Oz. Yes, I paid a lot in shipping, but as a die hard Oils fan, I preordered immediately after it was announced. At the time, there were no US stores offering preorders.

This album is when I first discovered Spoon. I'll admit, I was a bit of a torrenter and didn't even buy their cds. Have seen them about 10 times (next show is next week in Philly) and happily, I own their entire catalog on vinyl, multiple copies of some albums.

My husband was telling a friend of ours about a week ago - they do not have a bad album, much less, a bad song. Hoping to get on the rail next Wed.

I've seen them 5-6 times, great live band! I'm seeing them at the Fillmore in SF in a couple weeks, it's a Bottle Rock night show and a pretty small venue for them.

It sounds great. Maybe a little quiet but for a live album the recording is stellar and pressing is flawless.

Will def spin this again tomorrow. Saw The National perform this album front to back in Cincinnati at their Homecoming fest. It was my husbands and my 29th wedding anniversary so if you know the lyrics to the song Slow Show, you understand how much that meant to us.
I love this band.

I had surgery last Friday, so was unable to go to RSD. A good friend picked up everything I wanted. That package *should* arrive here tomorrow and this will be the first item I spin.
